If You Come for a Retreat
•    If you need translation, headphones with a 3mm jack
•    The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying and your other study books related to the theme of the retreat
•    Your practice books
•    Clothes you can layer, to handle different weather conditions (Don’t forget a warm jacket, socks, sweater, and thermal underwear)
•    Waterproof shoes that are appropriate for rough terrain
•    Shawl or other cover for the Temple
•    Raincoat and umbrella
•    Smart clothes for special occasions
•    Mug, thermos
•    Cash for offerings and purchases in the Shop (nearest cash machines are at the motorway service station at Le Caylar, 11 km away, and in Lodève, 15 km away)
•    Telephone card (also sold at the Reception desk)
•    Personal medication, and if necessary, medicines for allergic reactions to insect stings
•    If you have difficulty walking, bring a cane
•    Meditation cushion
•    Notebooks, pens and pencils, and a special book for noting insights you may have during the retreat


If You Are Staying On Site

•    Hot water bottle
•    Torch
•    For campers in personal tents: warm sleeping bag, mattress, and bath towel
•    For platform tents: extra blanket and a bath towel (mattress, pillow, sheets, and blankets are provided)
•    For rooms: an extra blanket (mattress, pillow, sheets, blankets and bath towel are provided)


Fire Prevention: please do not bring candles, incense, or camping stoves.
