The Lerab Ling site and Temple are closed until further notice
Coronavirus Prevention - Updated 15 March 2020
Following the public address by the French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe on Saturday 14 March, the Lerab Ling teams have decided to close the Lerab Ling site and Temple until further notice to everyone, except:
- those who live in Lerab Ling, and
- those whose work at Lerab Ling is essential to the day-to-day running of the site and the community, and who cannot do their work from home.
These measures are taken to ensure the wellbeing and good health of those who enjoy coming to Lerab Ling, and the Lerab Ling community, and to avoid playing any role in the spread of the virus.
Lerab Ling will continue to monitor the situation closely. We will reopen our doors when it is safe to do so. Updates on the situation will be communicated by email, on Lerab Ling's website and on Facebook.
The resident community and staff of Lerab Ling continue to adhere to measures to prevent spreading viruses in general (careful handwashing, respiratory hygiene, greeting without shaking hands or kissing, work from home and and do meetings online and so on).
Every day the Lerab Ling spiritual community is praying for all those affected by COVID-19. May the epidemic quickly be alleviated all over the world.
