Turning Suffering and Happiness into Enlightenment -

Video on Demand with Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche .

| MAHAYANA |

In response to the current worldwide coronavirus crisis, Her Eminence Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche has recorded a special series of teachings on a famous Mahayana Buddhist text entitled Turning Suffering and Happiness into Enlightenment.

This extraordinary teaching shows us how to transform and draw the very best out of the experience of both suffering and happiness, and use it for our ultimate benefit and the benefit of others.

These teachings are relevant and helpful to everyone interested. However, during her talk, Khandro Rinpoche is particularly addressing Dharma practitioners and those who already have some basic knowledge of Buddhism.

Khandro Rinpoche is one of Rigpa’s spiritual advisors and the Spiritual Director of Lerab Ling, Rigpa’s retreat centre in France. After plans to teach at several Rigpa centres this Spring had to be cancelled due to the restrictions related to the worldwide coronavirus situation, we are grateful that she has accepted to give this series of teachings that we are now presenting online.

How to connect
8 hours of teachings are available as video on demand.

  • The teachings are available online from 12 May to 31 August
  • These teachings are given in English with translation available in French, German, Spanish and Italian.
  • After registration you will receive an email with a code to access the teachings.

Supporting our main retreat centres
Rigpa is offering a number of programmes free online through a number of our centres and social media platforms (Facebook and YouTube). However, for this event and several other online events in 2020 we do request a financial contribution. The income from these dedicated events will go to supporting Rigpa’s two main retreat centres: Lerab Ling in France and Dzogchen Beara in Ireland which have been especially affected by programme cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are aware that many people are facing similar financial difficulties so there is an option to pay a reduced contribution for this event.
