COME TO LERAB LING WITH YOUR GROUP

We're delighted to offer you a unique venue to welcome you and your group, whether for activities related to natural therapies, energy healing, holistic psychology, mindfulness meditation, etc. Any group that shares our values and ethical principles is welcome.

THE PLACE

Lerab Ling is one of Europe's leading centres for the study and practice of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Under the patronage of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lerab Ling is a vibrant place, home to a community of monastic and lay members. It is also a temple housing unique Tibetan art, including a 7-metre high statue of Buddha.

Lerab Ling is ideally situated between the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc and the Parc des Grands Causses. Since its creation in 1991, all the teams at Lerab Ling have been committed to an environmentally-friendly approach, making Lerab Ling a unique place where nature is preserved over 140 hectares.

Yara Vrolijks or Frédéric Chastelas
will welcome you and your group and look after your needs throughout your journey. He or she will be your guide, from the beginning to the end of your event.

Yara,
having grown up in a Buddhist family, devoted her time, from an early age, to Buddhist study and practice. She holds a Master's degree in Philosophy from King's College London and spent a number of years on the Milinda programme, supervised by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. Yara is becoming a regular in the team of instructors holding public events in Lerab Ling and is professionally trained as a Tipi emotional regulation therapist.

Frédéric, after completing a degree in philosophy at the University of Montpellier, decided to devote himself to the study and practice of Buddhism, and met a number of Tibetan Buddhist masters in Europe and Asia. In 2006, he undertook a three-year traditional retreat at Lerab Ling, where he later took up residence to teach meditation and Buddhism and create a number of programmes and events, including the development of personal retreats. Frédéric is also trained in therapeutic approaches such as working with psychological wounds and Tipi emotional regulation.
